Those of you who grew up in Perambur, Madras know Sister Dennis. We are sad to say that she passed away on Sunday February 15 and the funeral was on Monday, Feb 16th. PepperWater remembers her and her service to our community and in our school and and in our church.

The funeral service was packed with people whose lives she had impacted.

WOW!!!!! How great it is that I am able to make my first comment on this website. Well done, PW.com it's good to know that, I as an Anglo-Indian can now subscribe to other A.Is world-wide. I emigrated to the U.K. in 1960 with my beloved parents (who are no longer with us), together with my three sisters and a brother. I am very happily married to a lovely Irish gentleman for the past 46 years and have been blessed with a beautiful daughter who, in turn, has blessed us with two lovable grandsons aged 17.1/2 years and 11 years. Best wishes to all A.Is worldwide.

We did have the opportunity to meet this wonderful lady while we were over in Perambur over this last Chrissy and New Year (just passed). What a blessing it was. God Bless her soul, may she rest in peace!
