Hair If you want to go for the almost curly effect, but haven't got enough time to get those curling tongs out, then just use this little trick that works wonders for me:
*run a bit of mousse through damp hair and make small buns by twisting and coiling sections of hair (part it into about 6-8 sections or more depending on the thickness of your hair) and securing with small bands.
*Leave it like this for about 15-20 minutes, or while you put your make up on, then take off the bands, but do not unwrap the buns. Instead hang your head upside down (yes I know it's sounding a little crazy now but the result is nice!) and tease the hair a little until you can see that the hair is unravelled and quite curly.
*Use mousse again and while your head is still upside down, apply it evenly and scrunch the hair.
*Lift your head up you should have a head full of awesome waves. You can also glam this up with some pretty clips or a nice hairband.

AMORE DODSWORTH | Heard of Primer Bacon!!! Written by gavin on 2007-01-17 03:11:25 Not sure of what Chris is talking about... just kidding ladies... | Smoooooooooth Tip Written by Alison on 2006-12-15 23:13:39 Yes, I've heard about that primer although never used it......it sounds damn good though. Seen a make up artist using it on TV and it really does make a difference. I must try it out myself oneday!! Thanks for enlightening us Christine! | A Smooth Tip Written by chutneymary on 2006-12-15 16:59:43 Hi girrrrls, I just had to tell you all about a 'primer' It is something, that to use on your face before you use foundation. It creates the perfect canvas for foundation. It is a colorless formula which fills in fine lines and pores to help skin appear visibly softer with a smooth velvet finish. I find when I use a primer on my face, my make up goes on much smoother and non blotchy. Since you have to use just a tiny bit, invest in some good stuff. I did buy the Elizabeth Arden primer, it was expensive but it was fantastic stuff. I then decided to buy the Avon product, I was not 'thrilled' it was ok. It was a lot cheaper than the Elizabeth Arden, but not as good. However even though I have not tried the Primer from Smashbox I have heard rave reviews about the product. SMASHBOX I shall be buying some tomorrow and will let you know my opinion. But honestly girls, you will not regret using 'primer'. But one thing you must remember to exfoliate or use a home mircroderm abrasion on your face at least twice a weak to get that perfect look. Christine | Hey ! Now come on... Written by monique on 2006-12-06 10:41:21 Isn't everyone doing a bit of joking..with JC in the season now we can also plug in our fingers into the electric socket for those lovely curls / spiked hair for christmas. Have fun and keep messing around | Thank You! Written by domestic engineer on 2006-12-06 06:13:00 Raoul, I am aware that it is just a joke; a funny guy thing. My concern was, it would hinder and not help what we are trying to accomplish in this new forum. We have, so far, had only one participant. So, sensitive me felt like with a comment like that what we are doing is all one big joke! I appreciate your apology. I apologize in turn for being overly sensitive. Charlotte | Littlemiss Written by Raoul on 2006-12-06 03:31:17 Thank you melanie , Glad you can see the sunnier side of that Comment. | Just like a man Written by littlemiss on 2006-12-06 02:02:06 Hey i think ur suggestion abt the electrical socket was fab..A friend of mine did that accidentally and u shld see his hair!! brings to mine the saying "Curls get the girls" (Courtesy of the movie The Wog Boy) | "Wisecracks" Written by Raoul on 2006-12-06 01:30:40 Charlotte , I apologise for hurting your sentiments , I am not detracting anything from Alison , she knows me well enough by now to know Im only kidding and I keep things toungue in cheek unlike some of the insinuations we have at the Photo Gallery. I would have deleted that comment upon request but it has been populated with replies. | Its a girl thing Raoul! Written by domestic engineer on 2006-12-05 07:59:25 I know you couldnt resist having some fun Raoul, but let's restrain from any wisecracks please? With all due respect, Alison is a young lady who has some great ideas for the ladies and ladies only! Thanks and peace ok? Charlotte | Hey Raoul ! Written by monique on 2006-12-05 05:08:03 Raoul is that what you did to spike your hair up.hehehe. | A suggestion Written by Raoul on 2006-12-05 03:36:07 Look , I know Im a guy and should mind my own business but after reading the time consuming and acrobatic hair curling method above I just thought I would put forward a much much simpler suggestion , that is - Find the nearest electrical socket and insert two fingers in it with power on . Guaranteed results in 5 seconds , not only your hair you could curl your toes as well. | Hey Alison ! Written by monique on 2006-12-02 14:04:45 Ok...i just read those tips in the forum.
