I've recently moved from Calcutta to Bangalore and I am surprised that I can simply not find any tailor who stitches well-fitting western clothes at a reasonable price!!
Do other Anglo Indian women face the same problem?
Can anybody tell me where I can get dresses and gowns stitched well in Bangalore? My budget would be around Rupees 400 - 500 for a dress and Rs 800- 1000 for a gown.
I simply MUST find someone before my brother's wedding in June!

Shamma Rao Tailor on Cavalry Road is adjudged by most Anglo-Indians, to be the best. His rates are a little higher than what you're willing to pay, but he's worth it if you get him to do the job himself, instead of giving the work to his assistants. You might also want to check out Mummy and Me on Hutchins Road.
