My Dear Fellow Bedeans and Well Wishers,
This Sincere Greeting goes out to all of you “Old Bedeans” and to your families, friends, and well wishers of St’ Bede’s. The year 2007 completes 100 years since St Bede's came into existence. ‘St. Bede's the school of our hearts’ as our anthem says it, has instilled many fond memories in each and every one of our hearts, and I am sure that many of you share the same sentiment.
We write to make you all aware and to cordially invite each and every one of you young and Old Bedeans together with your families and friends to join us in celebrating this significant milestone - the Centenary of St Bede’s at an informal gathering “Venue: Canning Vale Community Centre, Eucalyptus Boulevard, Canning Vale” on the 29th of September from 7:00pm to 1:00am.
The event, “Diamond Jubilee” is also to raise funds to help some of our deserving brethren from St. Bede's and so we ask for a donation of $20.00 per family. We would greatly appreciate it if you celebrate with us this milestone event in all of our lives. We ask that you kindly bring a plate to share, some dessert if you can and of course your own grog.
The preliminary organization is by a small group of us Bedeans. Given sufficient interest a formal association will be set up so that events such as these can be organised on a regular basis.
